Efficient operation and consistent results
The backstop provides stable cleaving and shortens operation time by detecting the backstop position and automatically moving to the correct position.

Automatic blade position change
To ensure consistent low cleave angles, the blade position automatically changes after a specified number of cleaves.

Through RFID-equipped fiber holders, the CT114/115/116 will select the most suitable cleaving mode for the fibre type.

The CT115 series is capable of cleaving optical fibers with clad diameters ranging from 80 μm to 1250 μm. Because it is equipped with various automatic functions, it enables even inexperienced users to achieve optimal cleaves while benefitting from a reduction in operation time.

Selection Process
Inserts are selected according to fiber coating diameter and cladding diameter.
Therefore, the standard configuration does not include inserts. Please refer to the below table and purchase inserts separately.
*1: Each side of this insert is equipped with a groove that is marked with the size of the fiber diameter on the table.
