Fiber Rotation Alignment
The FSM-100P/FSM-100P+ can align fibers, such as PANDA fiber, by Fiber Rotation Alignment.

Thanks to the EndView Observation System, FSM-100M+ / FSM-100P+ are able to rotationally align different fiber types.

Suitable for use with a range of different diameter fibers
The FSM-100 series features “Split V-groove” and a movable electrode mechanism which delivers arc control tailored to the fiber diameter.

Selection Process
➀When performing fusion splicing of PM fiber and the cladding diameter of the fiber to be spliced is 500μm or less: FSM-100P
➁When not performing fusion splicing of PM fiber and the cladding diameter of the fiber to be spliced is 500μm or less: FSM-100M
③Perform fusion splicing of PM fiber, and the cladding diameter of the fiber to be spliced is 500μm or greater, or when using the EndView end-face observation function: FSM-100P+
④Do not perform fusion splicing of PM fiber, and the cladding diameter of the fiber to be spliced is 500μm or greater, or when using the EndView end-face observation function: FSM-100M+
